  1. KO slip today. Do you consider to add some KO to your portfolio?

  2. Hi Marco, Yeah I definitely would like to add KO. However 1) at the moment I don't have spare cash available for another purchase and 2) I still would like to archive 20 full positions in different companies before adding to existing ones. This last argument can be ignored of course, if the right conditions are met.

  3. Just came across your blog....nice portfolio with only two of your holdings in the red. Also, nice overall dividend yield!

Wishing you continued success in your journey!

    1. Hi Sudha, thanks for stopping by and asking your question. I am not sure what the answer is. I have searched for ETF's with a decent yield, stable dividend growth and low costs. I did not find any ETF to my liking, however that does not mean by any stretch that there are decent ETF's.

    2. Hi Sudha, Yes. There are many index ETFs that provide you dividend income like: DVY, VPU, VYM, etc and these are listed in one of the 3 Portfolios (HID1) on my blog. Below is the URL for your reference. Hope it helps you!

  8. REITs have traditionally presented the investor with a dilemma recently: a choice of little capital growth but a healthy dividend - often in the double digits. But can these businesses keep taking advantage of low rates to make their businesses work. One of the REITs often talked about is Annaly Capital (NLY) which has lost almost 50% of its value since 2012. Without giving a full analysis on REITs, it looks like the share price has stabilized so this could present an opportunity for a stable income of around 10%. http://www.dividendrocket.com

  9. Hi DivDream,

I just found your blog and I of course headed straight to your portfolio after reading a few of your blog posts. Like you, my portfolio is a little smaller than a lot of other investors. Obviously with the market taking a sudden downturn in the last month or two, we're all feeling it a little. Make sure to take the good with the bad and keep headed in the right direction! Maybe try grabbing a few stocks that have a smaller yield but may be a little safer so that you can set up a solid base in the near future. It should help your portfolio stand the hard times a little better than the higher yield more volatile stocks.

    I'll be watching,

  12. Ziet er goed uit en wat goed dat je het al 6 jaar volhoudt. Ik vind het leuk om je te gaan vanaf nu om ook de lange termijn op het netvlies te houden. Ook delen we een aantal beleggingen zie ik.
